[Grid reference above is taken over the hole.]

A bolt is installed just above the entrance for the first short (ladder) pitch to a sloping mud floor in a rift. The second pitch appears to be 7m deep. Some clearance has occurred but the way down is currently blocked by an jammed, oscillating block. There is no apparent draught but there is a good echo.

In November 2023, the hole was rigged for SRT. The boulder was still in place and it was thought that, when it was capped, the way on would still be too tight. However, in December the boulder was dispatched and a descent made to the base. There was only a tiny hand-sized rift leading off at floor level. Dripping water could be heard not too far away in, what sounded like, a larger bit of cave. "This would be a reasonable capping project."
