A small, boulder-filled rift which, the farmer says, emits copious quantities of water in flood conditions. This, possibly, is when resurgences 4893 and 4894 back up. Unless it's a completely separate cave. It might be associated with 4867 on the north side.
The site was excavated on Christmas Day 2019 until it was possible to drop down 1.5m to see a possible bedding plane heading north. Boulders drop to water. A small "gate" has been installed.
Further work occurred in the summer, 2020 and over 4 sessions around the Christmas period 2021. A digging session took place on April 10th 2022 and , twelve days later, it was too wet to survey.
It was surveyed in July 2022.
