Updated 17th May, 24th September, 11th December 2018

A square hole noticed in the rock face. An attempt has been made to reach it: Traversed leftward from about 60m to the right along flake line. Reached bottom of next flake hading 45deg leftwards up to square hole. Simple rock problem but harder to reverse. Take a rope and abseil back from the hole?
It should be possible to inspect this hole by drone. See Easter 2018 logbook, dated 16/5/2018.

An aerial inspection by drone was attempted in the summer 2018 on a number of occasions; possibly the most informative is linked below: site 4211 is at the top left in the last sequence, where the bird flies in. A possible climbing route to the site is shown here, courtesy of Dave Dillon. The green line has been followed, the red line is a possibility where a rope for the descent may be required.
