Spanish Robin Pot. Enthusiastic digging at this site quickly revealed that rocks which fell in could be heard bouncing down for some way. An impressive vertical rift about 6m deep was found, leading to a sloping passage containing old cow bones including more than one skull. The way on continues down an oval tube for around another 6m to a narrow vertical slot which is filled with boulders.
The entrance should be tackled up as without, it is now a steep, slippery mud slope leading to a hairy free-climb down a 4m drop.
The site has been surveyed but not yet drawn up.
