The entrance could be on the side of the shakehole that contains site 308, but this hasn't been confirmed.
A low squeeze over a 2m deep hole enters a short, low passage to two pitches. One ladder down the right hand hole reaches a short climb down through a narrow hole into a damp chamber where the left hand pitch would enter from above.
At the far end of chamber, the water flows down a meandering rift that is currently too tight. This was enlarged during Easter 2008 and more work is required in drier weather (confirmed in the summer).
A look around the final, snappered corner in January 2019 confirmed that the job would be a big one.
At least some of the draught appears to come from small inlet passages.
